Just few days ago was published in the prestigious American magazine ARTnews, the 200 top collectors in the world. Despite the crisis, the reality is that the art market is living one of the most euphoric decades of the history because of the collectors from the emerging economy countries.
The Bank of Spain announced that after investments in financial products comes investments in Art. The fine arts and antiques fairs, the auction houses and galleries have increased their profits a 32% in Spain during the first decade of the XX century and the art works prices have increased almost 20% in the last 10 years.
The studies about art market says that if we take a long period of time, the trend of this market is always rising despite suffering temporal variations. This is especially evident in contemporary art which is the most prosperous and dynamic segment.
